Potato salad is a classic dish that has been enjoyed across many cultures. Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of potatoes (Yukon Gold or Red), peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Boil potatoes in a Large Pot for boiling filled with salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes.

2. Drain potatoes using a Colander and let them cool slightly.

3. In a Mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and white vinegar. Mix well with a Wooden Spoon and spatula.

4. Add cooled potatoes, celery, red onion, and chopped eggs to the mayonnaise mixture. Gently stir to combine.

5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with fresh dill if desired.


Tips and Suggestions:

  • For a healthier version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.

  • Add a splash of pickle juice for extra tanginess.

  • Consider adding diced pickles, bacon bits, or green peas for additional flavors and textures.
