Instructions:

2. In another mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.

3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with the whisk until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.

4. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and add a small amount of butter to coat the surface.

5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the large frying pan for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.

6. Flip the pancakes with the spatula and cook for another 2 minutes, until golden brown.

7. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the large frying pan as needed.
