Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 bag (10 oz) tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

  2. Cook Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

  3. Add Seasoning: Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the beef. Stir to combine and cook according to the package instructions.

  4. Mix in Ingredients: Add the drained diced tomatoes with green chilies and black beans to the skillet. Stir well and let it cook for a few minutes until heated through.
