Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup small pasta rings (Anelli)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Boil water in a Large Pot for boiling and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Melt butter in a Saucepan over medium heat.

  3. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, and salt to the saucepan. Whisk together using a Whisk until smooth.

  4. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally with a Wooden Spoon and spatula.

  5. Add the cooked pasta to the saucepan and stir to combine.

  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.

  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
