Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced into strips

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, shredded cheese, salsa

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.

2. Add the chicken strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

3. Heat the large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

4. In the same pan, add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred, about 5 minutes.

5. Return the chicken to the pan and mix with the vegetables. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to combine flavors.

6. Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.

7. Use kitchen tongs to serve the chicken and vegetable mixture into warm tortillas. Add desired toppings and fold the tortillas to enclose the filling.
