  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Preheat the Oven and Prepare Baking Sheet:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture:
    In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, and garlic powder. Mix well to combine.
  3. Form the Knots:
    If the pizza dough is refrigerated, let it come to room temperature so it’s easier to work with. Roll out the dough into a rectangle roughly 1/2-inch thick. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long. Tie each strip into a knot and tuck the ends under the knot. Place each knot on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Apply Garlic Butter and Bake:
    Use a pastry brush to generously brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Add Parmesan and Parsley:
    As soon as the knots come out of the oven, sprinkle them with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. The heat from the knots will help the Parmesan melt slightly.
  6. Serve:
