Frittata

A frittata is an Italian egg-based dish similar to an omelet or crustless quiche, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, or pasta. It has become popular worldwide due to its versatility, ease of preparation, and its ability to be served hot or at room temperature. Frittatas are a fantastic way to use up leftovers and are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner.

Tips and Suggestions:

  • For a heartier frittata, add cooked bacon or sausage.
  • Substitute vegetables with whatever you have on hand or prefer.
  • For a dairy-free version, replace milk with a non-dairy alternative and omit cheese or use a dairy-free cheese.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve with a fresh green salad or crusty bread for a complete meal. Garnish with extra basil leaves for added flavor.
