Barbecue Ribs

Barbecue ribs are a quintessential American dish, beloved for their smoky flavor and tender meat. Ingredients:
– 2 racks of pork ribs (about 4 pounds total)
– 1 tablespoon salt
– 1 tablespoon black pepper
– 2 tablespoons paprika
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1 cup barbecue sauce


Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).

2. Mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

3. Use a Chef knife on a Cutting Board to trim any excess fat from the ribs.

4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

5. Place the ribs on the Roasting pan with rack, bone-side down.

6. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

7. Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil.

8. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

9. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce using a Pastry brush.

10. Grill the ribs for 5 to 10 minutes, basting with more sauce and turning occasionally with Kitchen tongs, until the ribs are caramelized.


Tips and Suggestions:
– For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice rub overnight.
– Experiment with different types of wood chips on the grill for a unique smoky flavor.
– To make it spicier, add more cayenne pepper to the rub.
